Course Description
The World History class is a ten unit, one year course required for high school graduation. The course is based on the California Department of Education Social Studies Framework and Standards, which emphasize Twentieth Century World History.
Course Description Avid Demonstration School
Where has the Future been? We will time travel around the world to discover the answer to this question. We will learn like an Historian! We will explore where the future has been through Primary and Secondary sources, as a professional historian! You have entered a writers workshop, a place to contemplate Big questions using valid sources to support your answer. We will explore World History through thematic learning that includes W.I.C.O.R. & G.R.A.P.E.S. Cornell Notes and Step up to Writing will support our learning throughout our exploration of where the future has been.
