Principal's Message

West Valley High School Community,

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself as the new Principal of West Valley High School. I have been part of the Hemet USD Family since July 2014 as an Assistant Principal at HHS and later at THS, and most recently, I served as the Principal of Rancho Viejo Middle School. Prior to becoming part of our wonderful district, I served 13 years in San Bernardino City USD. I began as a High School mathematics teacher, then as an Instructional Coach. I am privileged to have the opportunity to lead West Valley High School and serve the staff, students, and community. I look forward to getting to know everyone within the West Valley community and building strong relationships.

Personally, I have been blessed with two beautiful children, a 22-year old daughter, and an 8-year old son. My family and I enjoy traveling and spending time together on vacation. My personal life revolves around my 8-year old son, and included hiking and attending soccer practices and games.

It is my goal to support all students, faculty and staff as we continue to implement the mission and vision of the school, continuing to build an instructional program that helps our students succeed in high school and beyond. I am filled with enthusiasm to join the Mustang team. I am excited to serve a staff where the teamwork and dedication is very evident. From celebrating your first IB graduates or your latest recognition from CDE as a California Pivotal Practice Award program winner. The forward momentum that the West Valley exhibits is to be commended. I look forward to learning from all of  you and contributing toward West Valley's positive momentum. I have an open-door policy, please do not hesitate to contact me via email or personal appointment. I am eager to hear your thoughts and input about all facets of our school community.

I am truly honored to be a member of the Mustang family and have the privilege to serve the students, staff, and community of West Valley High School as principal. It is my hope that our students will cherish the memories they make during their time as a Mustang and ultimately find their purpose.

It’s a  GREAT day to be a Mustang!
