Mission & Vision

The West Valley vision and mission statements represent many discussions about the values that we hold dear and the outcomes that we want for every student on our campus.  We recognize that education provides access to opportunities for employment but more importantly to grow and develop into the best version of yourself that you can be and to be an informed, valuable member of society.

 

West Valley High School is a comprehensive, standards-based school where inquiry, reflection, and writing expectations lead our students to become knowledgeable about academics and the world around them.  Our vision is that all students will be open-minded and able to clearly articulate their knowledge through various modes of communication, and a balanced experience in all areas of education--academics, activities, and athletics-- will provide a firm foundation for lifelong success.

 

West Valley's mission, along with parents and the community, is to prepare its diverse student body with the academic, vocational, and social skills necessary to become contributing members in a changing and global society.
