The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a voluntary organization through which the nation's colleges and universities govern their athletics programs. It is comprised of institutions, conferences, organizations and individuals committed to the best interests, education and athletics participation of student-athletes. If you are wanting to play a sport in college, you must be cleared in high school to play. Visit the NCAA Website and click on the type of University you are planning on attending to find out about membership requirements and waiver information.
 
You must apply for NCAA and be cleared through the Eligibility Clearing House during your 10th or 11th grade through this website
