Emergency medial Responder

This is a year long course designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to apply First Responder emergency care to patients of all ages, from infant to adults as well as gain basic knowledge of medical terms, pathologies and illnesses. This course will provide an opportunity to gain knowledge that will help them pursue further education and jobs in the medical field. Students will learn basic terms and skills that are required in excelling in the rest of the sports medicine curriculum at West Valley High School as well as classes related to their field of medical studies within post secondary academic tracks.
