Welcome to Speech and Language Services

Greetings from the WVHS Speech Room! First, I would like to say:

We miss you!

I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well and staying healthy during this unprecedented time. Here are some great websites you can visit for Speech resources and enrichment materials:

HUSD Speech/AAC/AT Enrichment website (geared for speech students K-12):

http://hemetlearnstogether.org/sped/speech-aac-at/

HUSD AAC Specialist website (geared for students who utilize alternative methods to communicate):

While there are no direct supports/services offered to any students at this time, I would like to offer consult support to WVHS speech-language students and parents during the remainder of our school year.

I have 'office hours' Monday-Friday from 1 pm - 2 pm. This is a perfect time for students or parents to reach me via email at [email protected] for support. If you prefer a phone call or video chat, we can schedule a time to meet on Google Meets or Google Hangouts.

During these 'office hours', I can offer support to students and/or parents by answering questions and providing information as it relates to the student’s speech-language needs.

I appreciate your patience during this time. Please rest assured that our Special Education Department is being guided by local, state, and federal directives.

Stay safe and healthy!!

Welcome to the Speech Room page! We are looking forward to another awesome year at WVHS. In the speech room students learn how to express themselves more effectively. Students work on a variety of skills including articulation, voice, expressive and receptive language, pragmatics, and assistive technology. Please let Ms. Stuck know if there is anything she can do to help you or your student.
