Welcome

West Valley BSU Mission

The mission of the Black Student Union is to promote a positive representation of the African American community on and off-campus as well as promoting student leadership, outreach, and empowerment.

Our focus is to build awareness, education, and consciousness about being an African American in today's society while embracing our cultural heritage, unity and promoting and teaching diversity through engaging activities focused around tolerance and acceptance.

Club Goal

All students are welcome to be a part of BSU. The club is open to all students regardless of racial and/or cultural differences.  BSU welcomes diversity as it provides a table for discussion, understanding, and acceptance designed to help foster an understanding of the experiences and issues that impact African American students. BSU is student-governed with faculty support, and supervision.
