Chapter 17.1 Notes (page 9) and Chapter 17.1 Step-up-to-Writing (SUTW) (page 8) are both due in your Interactive Notebook (INB) Monday, August 27th, 2018 at the beginning of your regular class. Be sure to copy all Chapter 17.1 Notes on the right hand side pages (input; page 9) of your INB and include at least three focus note/Cornell questions (who, what, where, when, why) in the left hand margin, next to the notes. *Tab additional pages of paper on page 9 to save paper. Include all examples given in the Powerpoint notes! Be sure to write your SUTW expository paragraph on the left hand page of your INB (output; page 8) and highlight your topic and conclusion sentences in green, your reason, detail, facts (RDF)'s in yellow, and your examples for each RDF in pink.
